Learning about faith
We have opportunities to learn more about our faith together, or to discuss our questions and find out what the Christian faith is really about.

Faith Group:  We look at the Bible together in a very informal way. Meetings are on the first Thursday of the month, for nine months of the year, from 10.30am (for coffee) until noon. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact Margery (brimardent@btinternet.com, 862534)

Bible study and fellowship: We have a small group meeting on alternate  Tuesdays. We look at a different Bible topic together, and spend some time praying.

Lent Course
We will be looking together at the book of romans for 5 Mondays from 19 February, 7.45 in St Andrew’s Church. This is open to everyone.

Personal Bible reading: We believe that daily reading of the Bible, God’s word to us, is an important way for us to deepen our Christian faith.  There are various aids available, including some online, such as:

Scripture Union              Premier Christian Radio

Adults with learning disabilities: There is a special service called JOY Place on the first Sunday of each month in St Andrew’s at 3.00pm.  It is an official part of St Andrew’s, but has its own leadership.

Prayer
As well as praying together in the small groups, we have two monthly special prayer times:

Time to Pray: normally third Sundays in the month, 6.45 – 7.45pm in the STAC (St Andrew’s Centre)

Prayer breakfasts: for all the parish, first Sundays in the month, 8.30 – 9.30am, in St Andrew’s or St Michael’s.
